Arriving Prepared
You’ll be most comfortable here if you come prepared with:
• A flashlight or headlamp (helpful at night)
• Comfortable shoes for walking on trails
• Light layers for cooler evenings
• Sunscreen and insect repellent
• A hat for sun and rain
• A rain jacket during the rainy season
• A reusable water bottle
• Books for reading, writing, or quiet creative time
• Personal hygiene products and any preferred snacks (there is no nearby store)
And, most importantly: curiosity, patience, and a willingness to slow down.
What We Provide
To help you settle in comfortably, we provide:
• Rechargeable lamps for rooms and shared bathrooms
• Bed linens, towels, and blankets
• Drinking water
• Umbrellas and a limited selection of rubber boots during the rainy season
• Binoculars for observing birds and wildlife
• A small book exchange for reading and quiet time
• Charging stations and electrical outlets in common areas
• Wi-Fi access in shared spaces
